Fee Discount Rules

Highest-priced weekly session is charged at full price.
Additional weekly sessions receive a 10% discount on the lower-priced class.
Sibling bookings receive a 10% discount.
EHC multiple-class discounts replace the standard 10% discount where applicable.
If you are unsure of your fees, SHMA will calculate them for you.

Evening & Weekend Monthly Memberships

Membership Structure

Rolling monthly direct debit.
Based on a 42-week training year.
Fees spread across 12 monthly payments.

Sibling Discount

20% discount on additional family members residing in the same household.

Membership Cancellation

30 days written notice required.
Fees remain payable during the notice period.

Unlimited Membership

Attendance at all eligible classes.
Subject to availability and instructor approval.

After-School Student Evening & Weekend Membership Add-On

Add-On available only to Monthly Members

Core Membership = Evening/Weekend
Add-On = One After-School Session
Unlimited Membership = Evening/Weekend Unlimited
Unlimited + Add-On = Unlimited Evening/Weekend + One After-School Session

Policies Applicable to All SHMA Programmes

Class Cancellations & Exceptional Circumstances

SHMA reserves the right to cancel up to two (2) sessions per term for each scheduled class due to:

Venue issues or closure
Severe weather
Instructor illness
Health & safety concerns
Operational requirements

Where reasonably possible, a make-up class will be offered.

If venue-based training cannot continue due to circumstances beyond SHMA's control, including school closure, venue closure, government restrictions, or public health measures, SHMA may transfer classes online.

Classes will continue on the same scheduled days and times wherever reasonably possible. Fees remain payable

and no refunds or fee reductions will be provided due to the change in delivery method.

Parent Responsibility & Collection

Parents or guardians remain responsible for students until they have been handed over to an SHMA Instructor.

Students must be collected promptly at the end of their scheduled session unless enrolled in an approved Extended Collection programme. Late collection charges may apply. Details can be found in the SHMA Website FAQ section.

Outstanding late collection fees must be paid before the student's next class. Failure to do so may result in suspension

until fees are settled.

Health & Safety

Students must follow Instructor instructions at all times.
Medical conditions must be disclosed before participation.
SHMA reserves the right to restrict participation where safety is at risk.

Martial Arts Insurance/Membership

Termly Martial Arts Insurance & Club Membership is £1 per student per term.
Black Belts pay the Annual TEMAS Membership and do not pay SHMA TMAI&CM.

Behaviour & Conduct

Respectful behaviour towards Instructors, Assistants, Volunteers, and other participants is required at all times.

SHMA reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation for bullying, inappropriate behaviour, or unsafe conduct.

Photography & Media

SHMA may take photographs and videos for coaching, safeguarding, educational, website, social media, and promotional purposes.

Opt-out requests must be submitted in writing before participation.

Club Rights

SHMA reserves the right to:

Amend fees with reasonable notice (New School Year)
Change venues, instructors, and timetables
Merge or cancel classes where necessary
Restrict or withdraw participation for safeguarding, welfare, disciplinary, or operational reasons

Agreement

By booking classes, enrolling in membership, or making payment to SHMA,

parents, guardians, and students agree to these Terms & Conditions.
